I’ve wanted a rhinoplasty for a loooong time. Researched many places and even had a few consultations. When I went in for my consultation with Dr. Elizabeth Wick, I immediately knew that was where I wanted to get treated. If I could give 10 stars I would! She knew and did exactly what I wanted. The whole process was great. The visits prior to my procedure were very informative and done in a timely manor. During the actual procedure I was very comfortable, it went exactly as expected. As for my post op care, she has kept up with my healing process and has seen me multiple times since, showing that she cares. I was referred to Dr. Wick after working with a dermatologist to address a facial bump. Dr. Wick effectively explained her diagnosis, surgical procedure, and the recovery process. I had an appointment at Ridenour Plastic Surgery for a consult and my visit turned out to be with Elizabeth Wick, M.D. While I came in for something else, the topic turned to revision rhinoplasty. As someone who had this procedure before, I did not think the average results could be fixed. Dr. Wick approached the subject cautiously and with concern, and we decided to do the surgery. She is very much of a team player, and by that, I mean she allowed me to be involved in making decisions along with her for a surgery that had risks and the possibility for complications, as the previous surgery had failed. The surgery turned out to be a success!! At this point, I have nothing but praise for Dr. Wick! She is the consummate professional, and truly cares about the well-being of her patients. Great Experience
I recently underwent a rhinoplasty and upper and lower blepharoplasty, performed by Dr. Elizabeth Wick. From the initial consultation, I felt that she really understood my concerns and goals, particularly with the rhinoplasty. Dr. Wick removed the hump on my nose, lifted the tip, and supported it so that it no longer droops, particularly when I smile. She did everything I asked she made it all look very natural. Dr. Wick also did a great job on the blepharoplasty procedures. My eyes look so refreshed! Struggling with Hair Loss? There is Hope and Her Name is Dr. Elizabeth Wick!
Dr. Wick and the entire staff at Ridenour Plastic Surgery are wonderful! I originally booked an appointment to learn more about repairing stretched/ripped pierced earlobes. When I first met Dr. Wick, I felt as if we could be great friends. She was so friendly, knowledgeable, and genuine. She answered all my questions and explained my options. Dr. Wick did an incredible job repairing & re-piercing my small/attached earlobes. She was meticulous! My ears healed quickly from the repair and the new piercings are perfectly placed/symmetrical. Additionally, as we were prepping for surgery... she went through the standard pre-op health screening questions. I ran down my prescription list, and Dr. Wick immediately knew that all the medications were linked to female pattern hair loss. My hair loss is genetic, devastating and it’s gotten worse in my 40s. I’ve worked hard to create an optical illusion -- I have hair extensions & rock a solid comb-over. And this is where Dr. Wick really shined. I was unaware that she had great expertise with hair loss. I've tried almost everything. I've struggled with widening of my center part-line & significant hair loss on the crown of my head. Dr. Wick had a strong plan of attack -- she updated my prescriptions to more substantiated dosages for hair loss and strongly recommended PRP. I'm now 6 months post prescription/topical changes + 3 rounds of PRP.... My hair is really GROWING!!! My middle part-line has narrowed, and I’ve stopped the comb overs!!! Dr. Wick is a true gem! What’s she done to address my hair loss is not only remarkable, but truly life changing. Ethnic Rhinoplasty - successful and has truly increased my self confidence
I am grateful for my experience with Ridenour Plastic Surgery and Dr. Elizabeth Wick. First, the office staff has been welcoming and helpful. My nose is symmetric, "upturned" and thinner than before
I was born with split palate and upper lip, which as a result damaged the shape of my nose. It was very asymmetrical and had pretty large tip. In 2014 I've had my 1st Rhinoplasty, which improved the shape of my nose, but left slight asymmetry and nose was still big and flat. Revision rhinoplasty was something I wanted to do for a long time, but I had a lot of doubts, due to the cost, lack of knowledge about US healthcare (I'm not originally American) and being afraid that my nose will be even worse. I was super happy to find Dr Wick in StL. She did a great job on my super complex nose, which needed a rib graft, upper lip scar revision and osteotomy to narrow the nose bridge down. After an 8 hour surgery, I got up, went home and had a regular dinner like everyday. My nose is symmetric, "upturned" and thinner than before. I'm on month two post-surgery, so it will slim down significantly. I didn't even believe one could lift my nose so much, as it was so "flat and heavy" before. Photos don't show the side profile, there is a HUGE difference. Super happy with the results! Dr Wick is truly an expert in rhinoplasty surgeries. Relieved to have my breathing and voice problems out of the way
Dr. Wick is the best healthcare provider experience I’ve ever had! I came to Dr. Wick with an asymmetrical nose, which partially blocked one of my nostrils. This made it difficult to breathe and made my voice sound nasally. I was initially insecure talking about this, but Dr. Wick made me feel comfortable opening up about my difficult, past experiences and my realistic goals. Dr. Wick listened to my concerns, and she was genuinely understanding and kind. Dr. Wick set out to help me, and she exceeded all my expectations and goals! Dr. Wick was with me throughout my entire journey. I’m currently 5 weeks post-op with 2-3 months left of healing, but I already feel so relieved to have my nose, breathing, and voice problems out of the way. Saved My Face - I Had Been Overbotoxed At A Medical Spa
I sought the help of Dr. Wick after I had been overBotoxed at a medical spa not affiliated with her practice. She was able to bring down an overarched eyebrow and correct some of the other problems the excessive Botox caused. Mostly, she was kind, patient and informative with the options she presented to me. I would trust her going forward with any other anti-aging procedures and recommendations. Still healing - really excited and pleased with the results so far
There aren’t enough positive things to say about Dr. Wick. Getting anything done to your face is a big decision and for years I have been wanting to get my nose fixed after breaking it in High School. The trouble was finding the right doctor. From the first meeting with Dr. Wick, I immediately had trust in her. I felt heard when describing my ideal outcome and Dr. Wick offered suggestions based on my needs and wants. She was very forthcoming with what she was able to achieve and helped make a seemingly big decision seem so easy and not overwhelming. ?The process from initial consultation was seamless. Everyone at the office was so supportive. Dr. Wick was responsive and easy to get in touch with during my recovery process. And best of all, I love my new nose. Dr. Wick is a perfectionist when it comes to her craft and has gone above and beyond to make sure I’m 100% satisfied with my end result. It’s still healing but I have been really excited and pleased with the results so far. This before and after comparison is three months post op. Reduced the hump and lifted the tip.
